Born in Weslaco, Texas, Abel moved to Palmdale, California in 1956 with his parents. He graduated from Palmdale High School and continued to Antelope Valley College. Abel started playing guitar at the age of 13 and immediately immersed himself in his newfound passion. After years of playing and performing with local bands and musicians, Abel Garza is one of three who founded the Boulevard Knights in 1996 with two childhood friends, Albert and Richie Leon. |
